At Summit View, we recognize that participation in interscholastic athletics enriches the academic experience and fosters personal growth. A sense of teamwork, dedication and commitment, self-confidence, sportsmanship and character building, and leadership are all built into our athletic program. Our coaches not only interact and get to now our students athletically, but in the classroom as well, giving them a clearer understanding of the needs of our students.
Elementary and Middle School teams participate in leagues with other small private schools, and the High School program is a member of the Mulholland League under the California Interscholastic Federation. Opportunities have included basketball, soccer, baseball, softball, cross country, golf, and volleyball.
Students have the opportunity to participate in multiple sports throughout the school year. Competition is fostered and valued, but students are encouraged to participate and tryout for a team regardless of their skill level and prior experience. Our experienced coaching staff teaches to all skill levels and typically sees vast improvement with our student-athletes.
