Summit View School offers a college preparatory curriculum to students with specific learning disabilities on two campuses, one in the San Fernando Valley and another on the Westside of Los Angeles. Students are either funded through private tuition or their school district.
Beginning with a multisensory elementary program focusing on reading, language arts, and math fundamentals through a middle and high school program following the California State Framework, Summit View’s classes are designed to assure student success. Our goal is to help our students become self-advocates and to use this skill throughout their lives.
As a WASC accredited school, Summit View strives to create self-reliant learners who are literate and productive citizens of society. Our highly qualified staff provides interactive lessons using the latest in technology, hands-on activities as well the most up to date textbooks and supplemental materials.
Summit View offers a rich and rewarding extra curricular program from athletics to the arts to community service. We know our students gain a great deal outside the classroom as well as at their desks!
I am pleased to report that upon graduation, 97% of our students attend college including UCLA, UC Berkeley, UC Irvine, UC San Diego, a wide array of California State Universities, and other reputable public and private colleges throughout the United States. At Summit View, our students achieve success and graduate with the foundation necessary to thrive as young adults.
